Covers
The cover is a magazine’s first page of advertising, selling the magazine itself. As such, it needs to use every trick in the designer’s kit to draw readers in. And then, the best covers will reveal an aspect of the subject that the reader couldn’t get from the text and image alone. When done correctly, you absolutely can judge a magazine by its cover.
These covers were created by Quarto Creative’s founder during tenure at previous publishers and agencies. All typographic design, layout strategy, and creative direction was completed personally.
